Brief History
- Founded in 1993 in Canada is now a Registered Charity in four countries, including Canada, Jamaica, Russia and the United States.
- Adoption Program — Bring a child into a home setting.
- Over 250 children have been placed in Canadian and American homes through the Mission of T.E.A.R.S. from approximately 21 countries.
- Humanitarian Aid Program — Bring a home setting to a child. This has been provided with the help of military airlifts, cargo containers and personal delivery by mission groups.
- Two orphanages have been completed through the organization of Mission of T.E.A.R.S., one in Jamaica and one in Russia.
- The Adoption Program and the Humanitarian Aid Program are based on the premise "if we cannot bring a child into a home setting, we will bring a home setting to a child."
- S.T.O.P. Project for orphans in transition (Safe Transition Orphan Project). To aid older orphans in adoption from an orphanage setting. Equipping and training transitional orphans with life skills. | |
